Royal Enfield Classic 350. The best-selling Royal Enfield ever.

The Classic 350 is the world's best-selling Royal Enfield by some distance — over 1.5 million sold since the J-platform launched. It's the modern descendant of the post-war Bullet styling, now with the modern 349cc air/oil-cooled J-engine — same 20bhp as the Bullet, but with retro styling cues from the 1950s: chrome headlight, deep mudguards, sprung-saddle look. 1996, 2006 = no Classic 350 — model launched 2008, J-platform redesign came 2021.

World's best-selling RE 1.5m+ sold globally The J-platform Classic 350 has sold over 1.5 million units globally since its 2021 launch. By far the strongest seller in Royal Enfield's range — and the bike that funded the brand's expansion into Europe and North America.
Same engine as Bullet 350 / Hunter 350 / Meteor 350 J-platform sharing The 349cc air/oil-cooled J-platform single is shared across Bullet, Classic, Hunter and Meteor 350. ~20bhp at 6,100rpm, 27Nm at 4,000rpm. Differences are styling and ergonomics — Classic is upright cruiser, Hunter is roadster, Meteor is low-slung cruiser, Bullet is the most upright.
Goan Classic 350 variant Bobber styling, 2025+ The Goan Classic 350 launched 2025 — same J-platform engine, but with ape-style handlebars, chopped fenders, and bobber styling. £4,800 vs £4,400 for standard Classic. Same 20bhp.
Surprisingly heavy 195kg vs 165kg class average At 195kg the Classic 350 is heavier than most 350-class bikes — Honda CB350 is 181kg, Yamaha XSR125 (smaller) is 134kg. The weight is from the deep paint, chrome fittings, and old-school steel construction. RE riders find it stable; learners find it intimidating to push around.
US: $4,799 starting Same price as Bullet 350 RE USA prices Classic 350 at $4,799 — same as the Bullet 350. The price parity is deliberate; RE wants buyers picking based on style, not budget.
Built in Chennai, India Vallam Vadagal plant All Classic 350 production is at RE's Vallam Vadagal facility in Chennai, India. Annual capacity 1m+ bikes. The factory also produces Hunter, Meteor and Bullet on the same J-platform.
