Launched 2024 — RE's bobber-cruiser take on the 650 twin platform. Same 648cc engine as Interceptor / Continental GT / Bear / Super Meteor (47bhp, 52Nm), but with chopped fenders, solo seat option, low-slung cruiser stance, 18in front wheel and a low 795mm seat. Marketed as a customisable platform — RE sells matching 'Shotgun-spec' accessory kits. 1996, 2006, 2016 = no Shotgun 650.

What actually changed.

Bobber-cruiser, not chopper Stance and styling The Shotgun 650 is RE's bobber take — chopped fenders, solo seat option, low-slung tank, low pegs. Not a chopper (no extreme rake), not a full cruiser (cleaner lines than Super Meteor). Sits between the two.
Sub-800mm seat in the 650 range 795mm At 795mm the Shotgun has one of the lowest seats of any 650 RE. Super Meteor 650 is lower (740mm) but the Shotgun's geometry makes it feel more confidence-inspiring than the very low-slung Super Meteor.
Customisable platform Sold with accessory kits RE markets the Shotgun specifically as a build-your-own platform — selling official accessory kits (Stealth Black, Sheet Metal Grey, Plasma Blue, Drill Green) plus aftermarket bolt-ons. The pillion seat is removable to convert solo→two-up.
Same engine, more weight 240kg vs Interceptor's 202kg The Shotgun shares its engine and frame with the Super Meteor 650 — both at 240-241kg vs the Interceptor's 202kg. The extra weight is from the cruiser-spec frame, deeper paint, longer mudguards and more chrome. 47bhp pulling 240kg is leisurely.
US: ~$7,099 starting Sold via RE USA RE USA prices the Shotgun 650 around $7,099 — middle of the 650 range. Sold as a customiser's bike with the largest accessory catalogue of any current Royal Enfield.
Rough Crafts limited edition '26 100 units worldwide For 2026 RE released the Shotgun 650 X Rough Crafts Drop — limited to 100 units globally (US, EU, India, APAC), with gold-leaf paintwork, brass tank badge, quilted leather seat. Collector's piece, not a daily bike.
