Yamaha's 2005 MT-01 was the original MT — 1670cc air-cooled V-twin from the XV1700 Warrior cruiser, R1 forks and brakes, naked roadster chassis. 89bhp, 150Nm of torque, 245kg dry. Power cruiser meets streetfighter. Killed in 2012 — replaced by the parallel-twin MT-07 that started the modern MT lineup. Cult bike now.
